Summer School is designed for AUL students who want to earn additional credits. Summer school takes place for three weeks in June & students are able to earn either a math credit or an English credit.
AUL also opens it’s doors to students from other Colorado charter schools. To attend AUL as a guest student for summer school you must meet with the principal or director of student services for an interview and provide a letter of recommendation from your current principal. There is a small fee for guest students that will be refunded upon successful completion of the summer school session. Contact the school for more information.
For Summer School 2017, students in the English class were challenged to create a For Teens/By Teens guide to Denver. We toured some amazing local attractions & decided which were ones we’d want to share with visitors to our hometown. Two of our favorite stops were a writing workshop focusing on expression, connection, & transformation at Art From Ashes and stand-up paddle boarding with Colorado SUP Sports at Chatfield State Park.
